1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using https://uonedu.org, operated by UONEDU – Udruženje online edukatora (Association of Online Educators, Zlatnih Ljiljana 41, 71240 Hadžići, Sarajevo Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the platform.
2. User Accounts & Eligibility
To book private lessons, publish articles, or access dashboard features on UonEdu, you must register for an account with accurate and current contact details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
3. Educational Services & Tutor-Student Relationship
UonEdu provides an online educational platform connecting students with verified language tutors for 1-on-1 live instruction via Zoom, alongside free educational articles and learning guides. Tutors operate as independent educators verified by UonEdu's academic standards committee. Students and tutors agree to maintain respectful, professional conduct during all scheduled sessions.
4. Lesson Packages, Payments & Rescheduling
Lesson packages (Basic, Advance, and Exam Prep) and individual sessions are priced transparently as listed on our Pricing page. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or approved institutional bank transfers. Students may reschedule or cancel a booked lesson with at least 24 hours' advance notice without forfeiting lesson hours.
5. Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines
Users may not use UonEdu for any unlawful purpose, upload harmful or infringing content, harass educators or students, scrape platform data, or attempt to bypass platform security. UonEdu reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate academic integrity or community safety standards.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All original content published on UonEdu—including educational blog articles, study guides, platform design, logos, graphics, and software—is the intellectual property of UONEDU – Udruženje online edukatora or its contributing educators and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
UonEdu strives to ensure continuous platform availability and high pedagogical quality, but services are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UonEdu shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from network interruptions or third-party video conferencing outages.
